Children and Families
Why not follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay up to date with all our plans and activities! If your children go either Bisley or Holy Trinity Schools, watch out for our weekly email so you know how you and your family can join in the fun with our services.
You can also check out the monthly edition of the Bisley and West End Parish News.
Family Area
Our 10am services (except the first Sunday in the month) will be at Holy Trinity church, West End. We have set up a safe and cosy space at the back of the church for your family to use during the services, if you would like to. There are some toys and books for you to use as you enjoy the cosy sofas.
Please also know that, if the children are having a problem with seeing what's going on, you are welcome to take any of these resources and sit further towards the front, in the pews.
Messy Church

At 3pm on the first Sunday of most months, we have a very special Messy Church service. At Messy Church we eat, play and worship together. It is a form of church for children and adults that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality. Expect activities, songs and prayers and an entirely new way to express your faith.
Most often, we can be found in the main hall of Bisley Village Hall, giving us a fantastic space to enjoy as we celebrate together. In the summer, we often meet in The Rectory Garden in Clews Lane, Bisley, offering us a wonderful outdoor space to run around and have fun together.
At Festival times such as Christmas and Easter, we may hold these very special Messy sessions in one of our church buildings in Bisley or West End. Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date.
We begin our session with a 'gathering game' at 3pm, a great informal way to introduce the theme or story for that month. We then hear the Bible story we are going to be exploring, after which we can choose a number of different craft, game and activity tables, giving us lots more opportunities to learn more about different aspects of the story. After about an hour, we gather together again for our celebration. We celebrate the birthdays of any of our Messy Church Family who are there that day, we sing songs, hear a short talk and finally, we end our time together with some delicious food. If you or your child have any special dietary requirements, it's always great to be able to cater properly for you - please do let us know in advance by contacting Jo, our Children & Families Ministry Leader.
Treasure Seekers

Our Treasure Seekers club runs on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month at Holy Trinity church, West End. For primary school age children, this is a fun club where we explore the Bible together using drama, craft and games. We begin with families together in church and, after the first song, the children and leaders go out to the vestry...in the warmer months, we may venture outside! We re-join the church family in time for Holy Communion where the children can accompany their parents or carers to receive a special blessing.
AWE Service

Our AWE services (All-age Worship for Everyone) are at 10am on the third Sunday of each month in Holy Trinity, West End. With at least four visits from our puppets per year, and fun and interactive elements each month, these services are accessible for all ages and include modern worship songs led by our fantastic Worship Band.
The Hive

The Hive is a group for the babies and toddlers in our community. The group runs weekly on Fridays 9.30 – 11.30am in the Jubilee hall at Bisley Village Hall.
Kingdom Explorers Club

Our Kingdom Explorers club runs as an after-school club for schools years 4-6 in our local schools of Holy Trinity (Monday, 3.15pm-4.15pm) and Bisley (Wednesdays 3.15-4.15pm). We play games, pray, read the Bible or watch a video re-telling of the story and colour or craft while we unpack the story together. If your child would like to join us, please contact our Children & Families Ministry Leader via email.
Reader Volunteers Needed for both local schools
Bisley Primary School and Holy Trinity Primary School are both looking for volunteers to come into school on a regular basis and listen to children read. As part of their safer recruitment process all volunteers need to be DBS checked and training would be provided. Research is clear that reading little and often has a very positive impact on the progress children make not only with their decoding skills but also their comprehension ability.
